In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we present ‘Touching Two Worlds: Familia, a cirque performance that explores the beauty and diversity of our inner worlds.
A collaboration between psychologist, Dr. Sherry Walling, and professional circus performer and coach, Lynn Lunny, this one-of-a-kind show offers the beauty and thrill of cirque woven with a powerful narrative about mental well-being.
Touching Two Worlds is not only a show though, our Friday evening performance has been approved by the Minnesota Board of Psychology, Minnesota Board of Social Work, and the Board of Behavioral Science as a continuing education event for licensed mental health professionals. This performance will feature an expert panel discussion on the role of creative movement in mental health care.
